5. Atkinson Clock Tower
Atkinson Clock Tower is the oldest structure in Kota Kinabalu (Jesselton), a famous landmark that sits on a small hill overlooking the city at the back of town. Built-in 1905 as a tribute to Jesselton’s first district officer Francis George Atkinson who died of ‘Borneo Fever’ (malaria), the clock tower was an important geographical reference point for ships sailing into the bay during the colonial era. 6. Tanjung Aru Beach

On weekends, the performance runs an extra half hour. Each session runs for 20 minutes with 10-minutes intervals. Its the perfect place to go after enjoying the sunset in Tanjung Aru which is very close to Perdana Park.
